The City of Hope Amtrak Station is located at 100 E. Division St. within the Visitor Information Center's building, though it is a separate entrance on the west end. Passenger service in Hope ceased in the 1960's and has been revived with the first official Amtrak train stopping in Hope on April 4th, 2013 at the newly constructed platform.
The waiting room is located in what was the freight portion of the old Iron Mountain/Missouri Pacific Depot, now the Hope Visitor Information Center. The platform is almost 600 feet long, made of concrete, and fully handicapped accessible. Hope's Amtrak stop has a wheelchair lift to assist patrons in boarding the train.
Our Amtrak station features a computer to print e-tickets, free wi-fi, comfortable seating area, full bathroom, coffee, and television for those waiting to board the train.
